The GIVIT is an Intensive Outreach Support Service for young people with problematic alcohol or substance use, commissioned by South Lanarkshire ADP. We can offer support at home, in the community, or in other suitable locations requested by young people. Referrals can be made by Practioners, Family, Friends or Self Referrals from Young People themselves.
Core Service Elements
Our Youth Navigators will develop a clear pathway into treatment and recovery initiatives using a person-centred approach.
Our qualified CBT Counsellors can be accessed quickly within our service providing participants with the most appropriate therapeutic support at the right times.
We have open & inclusive spaces where young people can be supported on their recovery journeys to socialise, participate in groupwork, volunteer and learn new skills.
Our young people with lived experience will share their insights and support their peers, ensuring them that they are not alone.
We are committed to providing a confidential, caring and compassionate service for our young people.
To make a referral the young person must fit the essential criteria. For Practioners, Family and Friends please click the Online Referral Form below which should take 10/15 minutes to complete.
