GIVIT Some STREET is our new early intervention and prevention project, to our nationally recognised GIVIT Youth Recovery Service. This new element allows us to extend our support to:
Young people as young as 11 years who may be taking risks around alcohol and substance use.
Young people affected by a loved one’s problematic alcohol and substance use.
Overview
GIVIT Some STREET will use youth work interventions and a recovery model to achieve the best outcomes for the young people referred to our service. Our approach includes both individual support and group work sessions facilitated by experienced Youth Workers. Participants can access a wide range of activities, including performance arts, outdoor sessions, wheeled sports, and health & well-being programmes.
Group Schedule
For Ages 11-13yrs:
Junior Group Sessions: - Tuesday & Wednesday Evenings.
For Ages 14 – 21yrs
Senior Group Sessions: - Monday & Thursday Evenings.
Both age groups will also have the opportunity to participate in occasional weekend outdoor activities.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where young people can explore their interests, build resilience, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Through one-on-one support and engaging group activities, we aim to empower participants to make positive changes and thrive.
